10U Red Dot, Orange Dot & Green Dot Ball:
Ashleigh Woods and Michael Bonfigli will run WTEF’s 10-and-under program with guidance by Vince Pulupa this Fall and Winter. The program will concentrate on early stroke production, basic technique and footwork for all of our youngsters. We will provide a fun, high energy environment for the kids to learn in and we will introduce a sport of a lifetime to these young players. Ability levels and experience will vary and we will place your child in the best program possible from beginner to advanced beginner levels.
Offerings include a 10 & Under Clinic that meets once weekly for an hour and fifteen minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:00-6:15pm. Saturday sessions from 11:00am to 12:15pm are also available. Fees are $200 per 8-week session for once a week classes or $300 per 8-week session for twice a week classes.
The Elite Group is for players who are ages 10-16 who are intermediate-to-advanced in the game and have at least 3 years of experience playing tennis. These players should be starting to play tournaments and look to take the game more seriously than a social setting on the court. Because of the wide range of age and abilities in this group, the coaches reserve the right to move players up and down the group levels as we feel necessary. Offered on Mondays and Fridays from 4:30 to 7:00pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 2:00-4:00pm. Fees are $500 per day selected for 8 weeks; three days is $1350; four days is $1600.
Competition B Group:
The Competition B Group is for players who already compete in tournaments regularly, currently have Mid-Atlantic Region rankings, are trying out for high school teams, and/or are playing high school tennis. Offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am-1:00pm. Fees are $500 per day selected for 8 weeks; three days is $1350; four days is $1600.
Competition A Group:
The Competition A Group is for players ranked in the Top 50 in the Mid-Atlantic Region, consistently compete in L4 level tournaments (formerly L1 Championship) year round, and play in either L1, L2 or L3 level national tournaments. The program focuses on tournament play and tactical strategy. An individual regimen will be developed for each player to help him/her succeed at the highest levels.
Coaches reserve the right to require a tryout for Competition A Group participation and reserve the right to move a players in or out of the group at any point during the year.
