2017 Summer Tennis Camps
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity for your child to learn the game of tennis. Put a swing into their summer experience by having them join the WTEF for weekday fun at the William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Center.
10 and Under
This class is for Beginners and Intermediate players. Participants will learn fundamentals of tennis including rules of the game, scoring, court etiquette, stroke technique, footwork, and court terminology.
Camp Schedule & Location:
Classes are held Mondays through Fridays at the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (also known as the William H.G. Fitzgerald Center) located at 16th & Kennedy streets, NW, Washington DC 20011.
Full Day participants: 6-10 years old
Half Day participants: 4-10 years old
Tournament and Competitive
Tournament and competitive level play will be coached by Vince Pulupa, a Washington, DC native, who has been coaching junior players of all levels in the Mid-Atlantic region for more than 10 years. His players have gone on to Stanford University, the University of Virginia, the University of Florida and many more. With Coach Pulupa’s effective and knowledgeable skills, this camp will push each player to their physical and mental limits, gaining skills to help you improve as a junior tennis player.
Details: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day with extended hours available.
Weeks: 10 one-week sessions, June 12th through August 31st
Hours: Mondays through Fridays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Weeks #1-8)
Mondays through Fridays: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Weeks #9-10 ONLY)

Fee: $500 per week/per player with a 4 or more week commitment; $600 for single weeks (Weeks #1-8)
SPECIAL RATE: $275 per week or $400 for 2 weeks (Weeks #9-10 ONLY)
