WTEF offers a year-round slate of opportunities for children and youth to learn tennis at our Northwest Campus.
The site includes the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center, a tennis stadium with one court surrounded by seating for up to 7,500 fans. Surrounding the Center are outdoor courts (including six clay). Four of the hard courts are covered during the winter months to allow for indoor play.
Our Tennis Clinics are suitable for players at all levels, from beginners to those competing in regional and national tournaments. Clinics begin every quarter.
Every summer, WTEF’s professional tennis tournament, the Citi Open, takes place at the Northwest Campus, drawing top players from around the world and thousands of fans from throughout our region and beyond.
The Northwest Campus is located in Rock Creek Park, near the intersection of 16th and Kennedy Streets, NW, on U.S. government land that is managed by the U.S. Park Service.
